    No One Likes Butts: What To Do With The Ends of Bread by Sara Kosuth 03/22/2010

    Do you find yourself throwing away the ends of the bread that you buy? For some reason, people seem to have this idea that the ends of bread are useless. In reality, however, they’re just as good as every other slice of bread with just a bit more crust. Rather than throwing them away, put those butts to good use and make homemade croutons! Here’s what you do:
    1. Take the bread ends and cut them into small squares (slice them one way, then the other).
    2. In a bowl, soak the pieces in olive oil (be generous and really soak the bread). 
    3. Sprinkle some salt and seasoning on to them (Italian seasoning is always good) and mix until fully coated.
    4. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes, or until they’re golden brown.
    5. Enjoy!

    So I know this article is older, but I've been going through ones I missed and this is such a good idea! Can't wait to try this when I get home!
