So here's a fun discovery! Ms. Humble of the blog Not So Humble Pie is a late twenty-something biological anthropologist and self-proclaimed nerd with serious food skills. She's the perfect distraction for a girl like me who is "trying" to focus on her winter break job-which i would like to point out is building a web site... how am I supposed to resist the temptation of the google search bar in the corner of my browser window?

Anyways back on track! Ms. Humble is a witty and from what I have seen, confident food lover and baker extraordinaire. What I can't get over is the elaborate and creative recipes she works on. Like for instance the game console controllers pictured above or the sushi cupcakes you can see below.

By the time I got to the miniature chocolate cupcakes with a marzipan cherry on top I seriously regretted that I hadn't eaten lunch yet. This has definitely roused my sweet tooth and my stomach. 

However she covers more than dessert, Ms. Humble has written about dinners and hardy soups as well as a few charismatic personal posts about her potato roll challenge with her mother. If you're looking for a mouth-watering distraction, this definitely makes the cut!
